ABOUT BRICKYARD FALLS >
During 2007, many small communities as well as the Brickyard Falls National Park System ratified plans to consolidate resources, services, and infrastructure into the City of Brickyard Falls. This agreement allowed several of the area communities who originally were too small to have their own fire protection services to get the protection they deserved.
Not all communities have been added to the city yet. As other villages ratify the merger plans, any apparatus or older fire equipment they have will be traded in and new standardized equipment purchased. One of the internal goals of the City of Brickyard Falls is to standardize as much of the equipment as possible. Any piece of apparatus should (more or less) be operational by any member of the department. It is our belief that trading in old equipment and buying as much new and identical equipment as possible will help accomplish that.
Prior to the incorporation of the City of Brickyard Falls, the towns of Hubrick, New Brickton, Kyola and the Brickyard Falls National Park forestry division often had to handle calls in the small villages and boroughs.
One of the key turning points in the consolidation to form the city of Brickyard Falls was the merger of Brickyard Falls National Park. Partially due to Federal Government budget cuts, the National Park Service agreed to turn over fire protection to the newly incorporated city with the stipulation that as the City of Brickyard Falls purchases and places in service new apparatus to protect the park, the National Park service will remove and reallocated their apparatus.
Today, Brickyard Falls is even better equipped to handle technical rescues, water rescues, and other incidents that might occur at the Brickyard Falls National Park than at any time in its past. Previously, surrounding departments or the LEGO Coast Guard were called in from Lego Twp or from the far side of Lereado County. With the establishment of the Brickyard Falls Emergency Services Special Ops Division, specialized equipment and manpower is available at a moment's notice.
With the construction and opening of the BATEC Medical Center, patients can get rapid access to a major trauma center. This new location along with the establishment of the Brickyard Falls Emergency Services EMS Division, the City of Brickyard Falls is on the fast track to reaching a major consolidation issue, achieving faster response times.
We are grateful for the assistance of Hubrick and neighboring communities for their unfailing assistance to our individual communities and we want surrounding communities to know that just as they helped us out, we will gladly send any units fire or specialized requested to assist neighboring communities
